Biography 

Raffael Antonio Iglesias (El Salvador) 

Raffael Antonio Iglesias is a Salvadorian educator and visual artist based in Toronto. Raffael holds a diploma from the Ontario College of Art and Design University and a master of fine arts specializing in painting (2009) from York University. His career developed as an educator at the Voice Integrative School in Toronto. In 2017 he completed a painting residency at the Robert Kananaj Gallery in Toronto. 

Raffael Antonio Iglesias’s studio work involves painting large formats and murals in graffiti style to illustrate elements and characters from Latin American pop culture. Raffael’s work has been showcased in the solo exhibition Solito (2018) at Robert Kanajan Gallery, Toronto. His work has also been included in collective exhibitions at the Robert Kananaj Gallery 7th Anniversary and Painting (2018) at the Robert Kanajan Gallery, Toronto, and Holiday Salon (2015) at the Yum Art Gallery in Toronto.
