Biography 

Alejandro Rizzo Nervo (born 1994, Venezuela) 

Alejandro Rizzo Nervo is a Venezuelan visual artist and model born and raised in Caracas, Venezuela. Alejandro holds a bachelor's in fine arts specializing in Photography (2019) from Ontario Art & Design University, in Toronto. In 2020 he began postgraduate studies at George Brown University in Project Management. Alejandro is a member of, Colectivo Satelital, a Toronto-based collective of artists, DJs, designers, and interdisciplinary artists focused on fostering diaspora, community, and engagement through talks, educational events, and digitally published platforms. 

Alejandro’s studio work is printmaking, photography, collage, and photomontage, to expose LGQTQ2+, and his political self as an immigrant from Venezuela fleeing conflict when he was 21 years old. Alejandro has showcased his work in Italy and Canada, in the exhibitions, Emulsion I (2017) and Emulsion II (2018) in Italy, and the touring exhibition Memorial: Works by Artist of the Venezuelan Diaspora (2020) showcased at X Space Gallery in Toronto and Khyber Centre for the Arts in Halifax, Canada.
